[HI Cobalt's in a great mood today! But there's a thread of concern weaving through his emotions because apparently most of imeeji just got anxiety at once and it's impossible not to feel it just from walking around]
I won't be surprised if a lot of people decide to sit this one out.
Yep, that's exactly right. As you can see, I'm not feeling too stressed about it!
[And it's true - overall he's pretty happy today! The feelings he's trying to muffle aren't embarrassment, but grief. She may catch twinges of them here or there like the worst funfetti in an otherwise very nice cake, popping up randomly without prompting and ruthlessly getting shoved back down.]
I don't anticipate doing any of the particularly spicy ones either because those seem embarrassing. Which I guess is exactly the point, but.
Anyway, are you playing? Wanna go eat a good and/or bad food for points? Do a trust fall? Play 'never have I ever'?
Sure, if you want? --No falling. But other stuff's fine, if you want...?
[She is feeling much more hesitant than she's presenting, uncertain and awkward especially every time those funfettis turn out to be actual ants instead]
Anything from the first two lists is fine except for the tickling. [a brief but stomach-churning revulsion, there and gone in an instant.] No tickling, please.
Are there any activities you enjoy that we could do together?
Mm... I mostly go out and do active stuff. Distance running, or riding my bike, or finding someplace and climbing up it, maybe jumping off... I train, sometimes--with swords, I mean, though--that ain't my specialty, I guess.
[From the feel of it, the last is more complicated than most people would consider 'enjoyment,' but eh]
What about other-climbing experience? I go with Hurricane sometimes, and half the time he's gotta handle himself...I'm talking like sturdy shoes here, not a grappling hook.
[Once they reach the hotel, he vanishes inside for a moment and comes out a bit later wearing his workout clothes - sneakers, track pants, and a plain white t-shirt (which is starting to get a bit tight around the chest and shoulders, but it still gives him a full range of motion.)]
[She has also changed, to a loose t-shirt in her color and leggings with bronze accents. She starts off towards the park]
The tea house in the park should be tall enough to count, right? Plus, it's like the closest place with enough foliage to break a fall if you lose your footing.
Nah... Usually too many people around, and getting flagged down by picnicking Sensitivs or something's kind of a buzz kill. I skipped straight to the hard stuff.
[She seems enthusiastic enough to give it a shot, though]
Game Tower. Think that's a little taller than Rainbow Bridge, though we did that, too. I've been up the Sky Tree, but took the elevator for most of it.

Re: Nemesis
Kinda didn't think this many people had emotional constipation. At least we can get outta here...
You seem in good enough spirits at least?

Re: Nemesis
[Can't help but think about some things now that they've been brought up, but attempts to switch the subject quick, embarrassed]
Guess you guys got easy mode on this one. Not much to hide, 'specially if you can just zen out if it gets too hairy.

Re: Nemesis
What things on this list would you feel comfortable doing?
Re: Nemesis
...No trust falls, no restraints. Most anything else's fair game. Any hard nos for you?

Any of that sound interesting?
Re: Nemesis
Wanna find something tall we can climb? I think we'd even get extra points for jumping off.
Re: Nemesis
[Starts for the elevators]
Do you need some kind of equipment or anything?
Re: Nemesis
Oh... right... I guess you probably just walk up the sides of buildings.
I don't have any building-climbing experience so I didn't think about it at all.
Re: Nemesis
Re: Nemesis
They are nice dress shoes, not ideal for climbing, buildings or otherwise.
He is also wearing a gakuran so tidy it may as well be a suit.]
I guess... maybe... I should go get changed.
Can I meet you in front of the hotel in like 15 minutes?

Alright, thanks for waiting. Lead the way!
Re: Nemesis
C'mon.

Re: Nemesis
Oh yeah, I guess so! I never thought about it that way.
[familiarity -- he's spent a few nights in that building, running away from home after a bad game. you know how it is.]
I take it you've climbed it before?
Re: Nemesis

Re: Nemesis
Re: Nemesis
How've you been doing with...lifting?
Re: Nemesis
Lifting's good! I'm bench pressing around 300 lbs these days.
Re: Nemesis
[Low-key words notwithstanding, she is genuinely impressed; envious in a way completely without malice]
That's like four Thorns, right?
Re: Nemesis
His tone is still light, however]
Yep! Two for each hand!
[he pantomimes lifting four Thorns]
