Anything from the first two lists is fine except for the tickling. [a brief but stomach-churning revulsion, there and gone in an instant.] No tickling, please.
Are there any activities you enjoy that we could do together?
Mm... I mostly go out and do active stuff. Distance running, or riding my bike, or finding someplace and climbing up it, maybe jumping off... I train, sometimes--with swords, I mean, though--that ain't my specialty, I guess.
[From the feel of it, the last is more complicated than most people would consider 'enjoyment,' but eh]
What about other-climbing experience? I go with Hurricane sometimes, and half the time he's gotta handle himself...I'm talking like sturdy shoes here, not a grappling hook.
[Once they reach the hotel, he vanishes inside for a moment and comes out a bit later wearing his workout clothes - sneakers, track pants, and a plain white t-shirt (which is starting to get a bit tight around the chest and shoulders, but it still gives him a full range of motion.)]
[She has also changed, to a loose t-shirt in her color and leggings with bronze accents. She starts off towards the park]
The tea house in the park should be tall enough to count, right? Plus, it's like the closest place with enough foliage to break a fall if you lose your footing.
Nah... Usually too many people around, and getting flagged down by picnicking Sensitivs or something's kind of a buzz kill. I skipped straight to the hard stuff.
[She seems enthusiastic enough to give it a shot, though]
Game Tower. Think that's a little taller than Rainbow Bridge, though we did that, too. I've been up the Sky Tree, but took the elevator for most of it.
[She feels positive enough about the idea; hopeful, almost. She brightens completely when they hit the tea house, circling around it to find the best vector of approach]
So... Basically you wanna figure out your route before you start. It's harder to see once you're actually up there... But see that corner, by the eaves?
[Points to a place on the back where the building juts out in an L shape, a rough wooden beam standing exposed between plaster walls, a bit of space between the tiled roof and the upper floor]
[He jogs toward it, taking a running start... leaps at the beam and pulls himself up without much trouble. From there, he picks his way up onto the roof, following Nemesis' instruction.
Using his body always feels rewarding, which is why he likes working out and sparring and doing sports and stuff. So he's enjoying himself quite a bit.]
He can't put his finger on it, but there's some kind of rightness about being up high. There's a large part of him that's confident that if he were to step out into open air, it would only be the first step in climbing higher, and that jumping off means taking flight instead of falling down.
Instead of feeling a fear of falling, it's almost seems like the lack of fear is more dangerous.
Anyway, he jumps—!
—and lands easily, with the pleasure and satisfaction of a good landing that didn't break anything.]

Any of that sound interesting?
Re: Nemesis
Wanna find something tall we can climb? I think we'd even get extra points for jumping off.
Re: Nemesis
[Starts for the elevators]
Do you need some kind of equipment or anything?
Re: Nemesis
Oh... right... I guess you probably just walk up the sides of buildings.
I don't have any building-climbing experience so I didn't think about it at all.
Re: Nemesis
Re: Nemesis
They are nice dress shoes, not ideal for climbing, buildings or otherwise.
He is also wearing a gakuran so tidy it may as well be a suit.]
I guess... maybe... I should go get changed.
Can I meet you in front of the hotel in like 15 minutes?

Alright, thanks for waiting. Lead the way!
Re: Nemesis
C'mon.

Re: Nemesis
Oh yeah, I guess so! I never thought about it that way.
[familiarity -- he's spent a few nights in that building, running away from home after a bad game. you know how it is.]
I take it you've climbed it before?
Re: Nemesis

Re: Nemesis
Re: Nemesis
How've you been doing with...lifting?
Re: Nemesis
Lifting's good! I'm bench pressing around 300 lbs these days.
Re: Nemesis
[Low-key words notwithstanding, she is genuinely impressed; envious in a way completely without malice]
That's like four Thorns, right?
Re: Nemesis
His tone is still light, however]
Yep! Two for each hand!
[he pantomimes lifting four Thorns]
Re: Nemesis
Maybe you could show me your routine sometime, for reference.
Re: Nemesis
[hey look it's the tea house]

Could pull yourself up there, right?
Re: Nemesis
Yeah, I think I can do that.
[limbering up a bit]
Then I can keep making my way up from there, right?

Re: Nemesis
She follows him up not long after, though with somewhat more trouble--she'll have to work harder, can't rely on Hell powers forever...
At any rate, they make it to the top, the extra little tower at the top of the roof, and she grins with anticipation]
How you feeling? From here's the easy part, since gravity'll do most of the work.
