Yeah... Had a couple medics what would freak out the second anybody got hit and would jump into fighting range and just yell on the comm all the time... Distracting.

[As soon as the house comes into view, Shen pauses, holding his breath.]
[Then he lets go of your hand and — halting at first, like he's not quite sure if he's really seeing this — runs ahead up to the door.]
[He reaches up to the knob, pulls it open, and vanishes inside. You can hear his voice as he goes.]

[WELL, THIS IS INTERESTING. Following Shen in?!]

[She lunges, sickle legs hooking forward, attempting to pounce on you like a spider subduing a fly in its web]

[Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any cleaning supplies here, but already everything looks much tidier. The walls are bare, and all the photos are in an organized stack.
This room no longer feels so overwhelming, or so claustrophobic. It looks like a simple storage room, where things can be kept until someone needs them.]

[You strike at the tree with your sword, and A TON OF BLOOD — no just kidding, there's no blood. You're safe, it's just wood. It's a soft wood, though, like balsa. Your sword chops into it easily, and it only takes a few whacks at it before you strike it one final time to cut it down.]
[With one last, final crack, the top half of the tree begins to fall, and as it falls it starts to disintegrate into little papery bits of ash. The stump starts dissolving, too. In fact, all parts of the tree everywhere in the room — roots, leaves, branches all — turn to ash, and then to smoke, and then they're gone completely.]
[The cord that was tangled in the branches falls to the floor with an unceremonious clunk.]
[The corpse is still here, still dead, his chest still wet with blood but it's not as graphic as you might have expected. Actually, maybe it's just you, but does his face seem calmer now? It doesn't seem as frightened as it looked before. It kind of looks like he's sleeping instead of suffering.]

[He's wide-eyed and speechless, looking at everything and everyone, not believing his eyes.]

[His face crumples, breathless, tears streaking down his face]

[He sprints to her and she crouches, catching him as he flings himself into her arms, wailing and overjoyed. She wraps him in a tight hug, like she hasn't seen him in years]
Oh, my baby! My baby boy...!
[One last squeeze of his shoulder]

[Meanwhile, Cobalt's over there in the kitchen making some tea. He looks about the same as usual, minus the antlers.]
