Cobalt: one of his unitmates told me it seemed like he had the scourge
Cobalt: said he was taller, and his eyes were strange, and he was growling
Cobalt: but that he seems to be getting better? so that's weird

Cobalt: hopefully it's not actually scourge because then we'd ALL be in trouble

Cobalt: it's incurable, so if phoenix really had it then we'd have to be having a conversation about palliative care real soon
Cobalt: but if he was growling and then... stopped doing that... then either scourge is curable in hell or, despite the similarities, this isn't scourge. idk
Cobalt: but if he suddenly drops dead WATCH OUT because that's when it becomes contagious
