We can do that anyway. Pep powers don't stand up very well to avante ones, though. I think I'm going to have to work pretty hard if I want to beat you... Hmm.
[rubbing his chin like he's considering this very seriously]
[nobody's called him a badass before ever in his entire life..........]
...Yeah. Kinda.
I miss using the skills I worked so hard for. But the only thing to fight around here are other people, and it turns out I actually don't enjoy hurting or being hurt by people very much.
[Now that he's done it before, he knows how to key up a memory to replay. What follows is a sword fight between a younger, teenaged Griffin and a angelic-looking demon.
The hand he's missing glows with power, covered in red scales. From it, he could summon a persona ghostly, demonic double - just like a Feint - to grab, or wield an katana. It could create swords out of the air, or cause a burst of energy to disrupt incoming attacks... 100% arm dependent.
That's not even counting his own skill with the sword - a sword with an engine built-in to propel its strikes, that could be revved to coat the blade in flames. And of course, the SSStyle.]
[He watches, enraptured, with his eyes wide and face close to the screen]
Woah, that's awesome! They really were like avante powers, too! You must feel really familiar with how to use them with your fighting style... man! I'm so envious!
These powers came from your arm?! Were you born with it? Or did you acquire it somehow?

I wish there were a way to borrow powers for a day 'cause you make it look so fun.
Re: 196 - early

Re: 196 - early

I'm on the pacifist unit now so I guess I'm retired from being a badass. I have embraced being squishy.
Re: done
Just speaking the truth.
Kind of a shame you gotta be a pacifist though. Don't you ever wanna let loose?

[Will it give him back the sensation of how it felt to use his powers? Unsure. He doesn't miss the violence but he misses having power.]
What were your powers like at home? What kind of stuff could you do?

[Cloud Nine keeps him from feeling bitter about losing his cool demon hand, thankfully]
