Cobalt: we got some dorm upgrades the other day, if you'd like to come check them out!
Cobalt: got a balcony, a theater, and our bathroom looks like a modern public bath now
Cobalt: it's a little like the onsen, where everyone can soak together in a big heated pool, if that sounds relaxing to you at all
Cobalt: otherwise we could just keep it simple and meet in the dining room
Cobalt: what would appeal to you?

Leviathan: Wow! Your unit got a number of upgrades
Leviathan: I would be interested in checking it out!
Leviathan: And snacks sound nice.

Cobalt: yeah! come on over!

Leviathan: Thank you. I will be there soon.

I am excited to see the changes your unit was able to purchase. We had one as well, and Nya changed his room, too.

We merely got a balcony with a garden. Although... perhaps because of our unit aesthetic, it is a little strange, too. But all of our unit flowers are represented, which is nice. There is also a garden pond, though it is a strange pink... and we have a swing.

[Since it's topical, he'll show Leviathan the balcony, first. One of the doors in the hallway opens to a small stairwell leading up, and the door at the top opens out onto the balcony, which looks like a school rooftop.

From the settings page:

"The railing is made of plain steel bars, and the pseudo-rooftop is rather plain, decorated only by planter boxes. These planters contain a variety of plants and flowers, largely types that are commonly brewed into teas. Stuck into each planter are colourful tabs that label the plant in crayon. It looks like small cafeteria tables have been absconded with from somewhere, set up on the roof with folding chairs scattered around them in small groups."]

Is this also in theme with 'school'? Modern day schools are so elaborate.

He bends down by some of the plants. To be honest, he doesn't recognize most plant names, outside of some flowers, but he'd like to start learning more.]

It looks very companionable.

Yeah, it's part of the theme. This is sort of along the lines of what the roof of a school would look like.

We asked for a pool and hot tub to go out here, but that part got denied, since I guess it has to be its own separate upgrade. We already requested it again, so maybe in the next round.

I'm pleased with the plants, though! Most of these are plants used for teas, so I'm going to learn how to start making my own.

A hot tub? Is that not a normal bath?

We have one within SensitIV. It is like a teacup.

A hot tub is like... mmm... the one that's at the gym! Its purpose is less to make you clean and more to relax sore muscles.

A bath that looks like a teacup sounds cute! I heard about the blood faucet... is that the same tub?

It is the same tub. It...was very alarming the first time I turned it on.

But as long as you do not pour that spout it will not fill with blood, but with water or bubbles.

I'm glad to know you can avoid the blood faucet. Sounds shocking!

"The home theater is set up like a school's small theater but when the curtain is raised no stage is revealed. Instead there's a screen that takes up the whole wall with a fairly good (and most importantly, loud) sound system. The lights are controlled by a dimmer switch which can be clicked to change the colours to set the mood.

The seats come in three rows of six, enough room for the whole unit and a few friends each. The seats fold back up into themselves as you'd expect of any school theater, easy to bypass when not seated, but when the members of the unit sit in them they find they telescope out much further than expected, with a hidden lounging setting that folds out and are surprisingly very plush."]

This is a theater! It's used for watching movies!

You know how you can watch people's memories play out on your phone? Movies are kind of like that -- images playing out on a screen -- except they're fictional stories performed by actors specifically for the sake of entertainment.

It is like the T.V.? That people watch us on and where people disappear to different T.Vs?

Yes, exactly! It's like a pre-recorded street play, projected onto a screen.

Sometime I'd like to have a movie night where we get friends together and watch a bunch of comedies or something. You're definitely invited, whenever that happens.

I don't know most of the people from your unit very well, so it's hard for me to say. What kind of stuff do they like?

I know Persephone likes books, and Anubis likes games and crafts and stuff... What about the others?
