[He puts down the teacups and makes his way over.]

I'm glad you made it! I'm so happy to see you!

[He tips his head in the direction of the foyer, in the opposite direction as the party.]

[Hesitates, then nods]

[He leads Thorn toward the foyer and around a corner, near the stairs. This is away from the party, in an area that's decorated but out of view of the rest of the people in the house.]

[Once Thorn has followed him over here, he takes one last peek around the corner to make sure nobody is looking their direction or heading over.]

[Coast looks clear.]

[Without making any sudden movements, he slowly kabedons him against the wall.

This is what I wanted to do... the last time you were here.

[It's a little breathless; his head is tipped up toward Cobalt]

[He leans in and kisses him on the lips, as if he hasn't seen him in years.]

[He leans up into the kiss - hesitates, and then threads his arms around Cobalt's neck]

[He cups his hand around Thorn's cheek, tracing the pad of his thumb over his cheekbone, and deepens the kiss.]

[It's a slow kiss, but full of heat; careful, but insistent.]

[It's a kiss full of longing and tinged with the ache of want.]

[He leans into the kiss a little more]

[It's slow and searching and very soft, but a little hesitant, all the same - aware, perhaps, of where they are and what's going on around them]

[He senses that hesitancy, especially because it's mirroring his own as he tries to keep himself from getting carried away when his own mom is right around the corner.]

[He kisses for a few moments more, then pulls away, slightly breathless.]

Here — come with me.

[He takes Thorn's hand and guides him toward the stairs.]

[You head upstairs, retracing the path to Cobalt's room that you traveled once before in a different life. Cobalt pushes open the door, and instead of the bedroom of a highschool boy, it's this.]
