There are five lights that are out, and two of them are currently being worked on. Getting those up will make a big difference in the fight to come.
North of here is my apartment and the power plant -- both of those places contain weapons and meteor shards that we can use to fight. The shards are what are used to imbue weapons with magic... If we had some of those, we'll have a lot more strength and flexibility to fight off whatever shows up. It would be good if we had someone with the ability to heal, for example. That could save all our lives.

They're both north of here. If you go straight you'll reach the power plant. Hang a right, and you'll get to my apartment.
You can find plenty of stuff in either of those places.
