They're darkness-loving creatures that are repelled by light. They show up at nightfall... if we don't get the lights back up by then, the wall's going to be weak to attack.
We're going to need weapons and meteor shards, too, to fight off whatever comes to take a shot at the city.
They don't need any special skills to fix, they're all just literally unplugged. Follow the yellow cable to the end, find the unplugged black cords, and plug them in the way you'd plug a lamp into an extension cord. That's exactly what it is.
Anything you choose to do would be vitally helpful.
